●Opening Hours(開館時間)
 
        ・Tuesday through Friday 9:00am-7:00pm             
        ・Saturday,Sunday,and National Holidays 9:00am-5:00pm
        Library Calendar
         
●Closed(休館日)
 
        ・Monday
        (When Monday falls on a National Holiday, the library remains open on that day and closes the following Tuesday. When Monday falls in the middle of an extended holiday, the library remains open throughout the holiday period and closes the first following weekday thereafter.)
        ・Year-end and New Year holidays (December 29th through January 3rd)
        ・Library Inventory (10 days a year)
         
●To use library materials in the reading room(館内で資料をみるとき)
 
        You can use library materials freely in the reading room.
You can search for library materials by using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
Please ask at the counter when you can’t find library materials or you need help operating OPAC.
         
●Reservations(予約)
 
        When library materials you would like to borrow are on loan, fill out a reservation form with the necessary information and hand it in at the information counter.
When the materials become available, we’ll notify you.
         
●To check out library materials for the first time(はじめて図書館の資料を借りるとき)
 
        You need a library card to check out library materials.
If you live, work, or study in Kagawa, you are entitled to have a library card.
Please fill out a registration form and hand it in at the information counter.
Please show a form of identification that includes your name and current address, such as a driver’s license, insurance card, Residence Card, or student ID to the information desk to make your library card.
         
●To check out library materials(借りるとき)
 
        You can check out up to ten books and magazines for a maximum of fifteen days.
You can check out up to three CDs for a period of fifteen days.
To check out library materials, please take them to the counter with your library card.
An alarm will sound if you fail to go through the check-out procedure.
         
●Interlibrary Loan(相互貸借)
 
        Materials that are not in this library’s collection can be borrowed from other libraries
as part of the interlibrary loan system.
Depending on the library from which you borrow, there may be a delivery charge.
Please ask at the front desk for more information.
         
●To return library materials(返すとき)
 
        When the library is open, please return library materials to the counter.
When the library is closed, please put books and magazines into the book post installed next to the entrance.
Please return CDs directly to the counter during opening hours (as they’re breakable).
You don’t need your library card to return materials.
         
●Reference service(レファレンス)
 
        The librarians can help you to look for a book or material or to find the information you need.
You can inquire by telephone,mail or e-mail.
         
●To copy materials(コピーサービス)
 
        Self-service photocopiers are available.
When you need photocopies, please fill out a photocopy application form at the counter.
Copying at the library is allowed only in the situations prescribed in the Copyright Law.

  By Bus:Take Kotoden Bus(Fuseishi Station – Sun Messe line)from Kotoden Fuseishi Station and get off at Kenritsu Toshokan mae bus stop which is located just in front of the library.
   
  By Taxi:From Takamatsu Station to Library, 30 minutes.
